We won’t pretend that online qual can always replace Face-to-Face research, but cyber space can be a pretty exciting place for a quallie. With social networking sites flourishing, interacting online is second nature to many consumers.
At ICM Qualitative we use the internet for research in its place; whether it is blogs, bulletin boards or online groups we’ll harness technology when it works best.
Techniques we use:
- Preview: our online platform offers real time moderated chat and discussion forums on almost any topic or issue. We can show ads, images, concepts and web links at the touch of a button. It’s quick and easy to use with results available the next day.
- Bulletin boards: setting up a bulletin board allows threads of a discussion to develop over time. Regular interaction with respondents allows an idea or concept to grow over many weeks or even months
- Blogs: diaries are a great tool, and blogs can be even better. Personal blogs allow access to respondents inner most thoughts and can be constantly replenished and updated with pictures, texts and graphics.
